December

December was a much anticipated month for us... our last Match Day! We were more than ecstatic when we found out Josh matched into the GI program here at Loma Linda, his number one choice. Matching was an answer to countless prayers and confirmation that the many years of hard work on Josh's part have paid off. I am beyond proud of him!!

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas up in Salt Lake with our family without Josh having to use any vacation days. Thank goodness for research months!! Our 10 days in Utah gave us all a good dose of winter weather filled with LOTS of snow. We had time for hanging out with cousins cousins, relaxing, a medical school friends get together, parties, date night, game nights and family dinners. As a bonus we were able to bless Makayli with our family before we headed home. It was a great way to finish a fantastic month and gear up for a couple of hectic ones.
